"Persistent standing in the East Stand"
Apparently loads of people complained about this on the Founders Feedback and stewards have now had strict instructions to stop this on Sunday and beyond. Standing while the match is in progress is STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED.

There we go, the end of the club as we know it.

Spectators welcome, true supporters not so.

Re: "Persistent standing in the East Stand"
Club could have sorted this by having specific areas for those who wanted to stand / sing, but no surprise Brady couldn't be arsed as its not something Arsenal have done.

Saying that people who get upset at having to stand at football are odd...

Re: "Persistent standing in the East Stand"
To be fair, it's strictly not allowed anyway.

However, the lack of a family stand has caused this, as well as the +2s. Folk who are used to standing should still stand, anyone who's bought a ticket in the usual standing areas, well fuck them.

Although IF this is happening in areas which didn't used to be standing at Upton Park, then I do have a bit of sympathy. Although as already said, nobody likes a grass.

Re: "Persistent standing in the East Stand"
They tried to stop it in the old UP BML years ago. They sent us all letters threatening to close the satand if it continued.

It did continue and they just gave up.

I expect the same will happen at the OS

Re: "Persistent standing in the East Stand"
Difference is '64 NONE of you wanted to sit down.

People are now grassing fellow fans because they want to sit down. These people are the demographic BERKS Inc want as they're likely to be families who spend more so they will take action.

Will be more standing tomorrow behind both goals when many are back in normal seat.

For big games can see whole lower east stand standing. Will create a great atmosphere,
